Allegations of corruption do not bother us will send another signal in PRN

PN Information Chief Mohamed Azmin Ali is confident that corruption prosecutions involving the leadership of Bersatu will not interfere with preparations for the state election (PRN) which is expected to take place next June.

For Azmin who is also a member of Bersatu’s Supreme Leadership Council (MPT), the prosecution was clearly a selective prosecution.

“We believe this is a selective charge and the party president (Muhyiddin Yassin) today stated that the brothers and sisters are aware, the statement made by the Umno president (Ahmad Zahid Hamidi) earlier proves that there is already a plan,” he claimed to reporters at the Kuala Lumpur Court compound. , today.

He appeared at the Kuala Lumpur Court to support two Bersatu leaders who were charged with corruption.

Bersatu Information Chief who is also Member of Parliament for Tasek Gelugor Wan Saiful Wan Jan was charged with two charges of soliciting and accepting bribes amounting to RM6.9 million related to the Jana Wibawa project.

Also dragged to court today is Adam Radlan who is also the deputy head of Bersatu Segambut, also on two charges of corruption involving Jana Wibawa.

However, they pleaded not guilty and begged to be tried.

Commenting further, Azmin described the prosecution as clearly wanting to paralyze Bersatu and PN.

He said it was also another proof of PH and Umno’s fear of the people’s support for PN in the last GE15.

“We are once again confident that in the (upcoming) PRN, the people will give another signal to PH and Umno because they did not fulfill what they promised in the last election,” he added.
